Seoul Botanic Park
I’ve installed a handful of apps on my phone since moving abroad, the least interesting of which is one that measures Seoul’s air quality index. We often receive emergency alerts when micro dust levels are high, but people continue to go about their day, most even without a mask to filter the air.
The air’s not so good in the winter months, but the sun’s out most days; even though we could feasibly hibernate, it just won’t happen. I was searching for things to do (besides cafe-hopping) that wouldn’t require staying outdoors and discovered Seoul Botanic Park. It was the perfect place to escape the micro dust for a morning, and best of all, admission is free until the official opening May 2019!
