The Dress I Wore Most Last Semester and an Exciting Sale
My love affair with Gal Meets Glam Collection is no secret—monthly drops of dresses in classic silhouettes and feminine fabrics and prints, hello—but the dress I’ve worn most from my collection of GMG has been. And now the secret’s out!
Imagine my surprise when I realized I’ve never shared the Maggie (c/o) on this blog or even on our Instagram. It’s the dress I wore on our tour through Seoul in our Gal on the Go feature last fall, not to mention the dress I wore most that semester and even into spring. My students might as well have called me Professor Pink.
It’s just so darn comfortable! It’s almost a sweater dress and so the ribbed material has a bit of give, but there’s still structure to the silhouette with the fitted waist, banded neckline and sleeves, and puffed shoulders. My favorite way to wear it is probably with tights and tall boots (as pictured) and a belted, slightly oversized coatigan on top, but I’ve also loved wearing it with bare legs, embellished flats, and my Find Kapoor Pingo bag.
Speaking of encores, another customer favorite that came back with the August drop is the Celeste in cream (and berry, and black, and navy). The Celeste is the one that started it all—I can’t wait to bring it out again, paired with a pretty belt or silk scarf, once it cools down in Seoul.
